Michelle Cardoza is a makeup artist and men’s groomer…

…known as much for her artistry as for the way she works.

Originally from New York and now based in New Orleans, Michelle is a Honduran-American licensed cosmetologist working across film and television, commercial productions, live events, talent, executive, bridal and private clients.

Michelle has worked in the industry since 2011, building a career that has taken her from one-on-one appointments to major productions and department leadership. She is known for polished, thoughtful artistry, but just as much for how she works…prepared, calm, discreet and aware of what is happening around her.

For Michelle, every job starts with understanding the person in her chair and what the assignment calls for. She adjusts easily between environments, whether she is preparing talent for camera, grooming an executive, working alongside a production team or getting a bride ready for her wedding day.

As a member of IATSE Local 798, Michelle also has extensive experience working within film and television production. When a project requires a larger team, she brings together makeup artists and hairstylists she trusts to meet the needs of the job and the standards her clients expect.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Michelle has built her reputation on strong work, good relationships and being someone people want to work with again. She believes talent matters, but so do preparation, awareness, professionalism and character.
