Michelle Cardoza

Michelle Cardoza is a New Orleans–based makeup artist and men’s groomer working across commercial campaigns, beauty and editorial, film and television, live production and broadcast, and weddings.

Originally from New York, Michelle began her career in 2011. A licensed cosmetologist and member of IATSE Local 798, she has experience ranging from independent assignments to large-scale productions and department leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked with actors, athletes, executives, and private clients.

Her approach begins with understanding the individual, the creative direction, and the needs of each assignment. Whether preparing talent for camera, collaborating with a production team, or working with a bride on her wedding day, Michelle tailors her work to the setting and the person in her chair.

For projects requiring additional artists, Michelle assembles and leads a trusted team of makeup artists and hairstylists, coordinating the work to meet the demands of each production or event.

Michelle is Honduran-American and fluent in English and Spanish, Michelle is available for projects in New Orleans and beyond.
